My background is on Physics and Electronics. I obtained both degrees at Universitat de València. I finished my Ph.D. on Computational Neuroscience in July 2008. In my Thesis I studied the mechanisms of selective visual attention using biological computational models of two interacting cortical areas (see the publication list). The Thesis was done under the supervision of Dr. Albert Compte in part at INA (Instituto de Neurociencias de Alicante, UMH -CSIC), where I did the PhD. courses on Neuroscience and the first steps of this research. From ending 2006 to August 2008 I worked in the Dr. Compte’s Lab. at IDIBAPS (Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer) in Barcelona. From september 2008 to October 2011 I had a postdoc position in the laboratory of Prof. Xiao-Jing Wang. I have started in November 2011 a second postdoc in Prof. Thilo Womelsdorf’s lab at York University in Toronto (Canada).
